Shooting sports provides fun and adventure for our Scouts. It teaches skills, discipline, self-reliance, sportsmanship and conservation - all elements of good character that Scout leaders strive to instill.
In proper balance, shooting sports supplement the troops' program at our summer resident camps. After summer camp, our ranges at Camp Pigott continue to be used.
Our shooting sports committee is dedicated to offering Boy Scout Shooting Sports Days, which includes rifle, shotgun, archery, and the bonus of tomahawk throwing.
For those units interested in spending the night at Camp Pigott or Camp Edward during their Shooting Sports weekend, please complete the online rental request form HERE to make arrangements.
