Unit needs, Program resources, and goals are but a few topics discussed.
Boy Scouts of America is a whole family involvement program. Parents, guardians, Foster parents, family members and siblings are involved in the goal to ensure all members are prepared for the future.
A Cub Scout Pack is made up of Youth in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Once a Youth is registered in Kindergarten, they may begin the program.
Once a youth graduates 5th Grade or if achieved Arrow of Light at the age of 10 ½ they are eligible to move to a Troop.
A Scouts BSA Troop is made up of youth aged 11 through 18 which lends to the more traditional impression of Boy Scouts of America.
A Venturing Crew is made up of youth 14 – 20 more focused toward high adventure activities. Think something similar to National Park Rangers.
A Explorer Post is made up of youth 13 – 20 more geared toward Community engagement. Think any of the EMT, Security, Fire response organizations. At this time only Kitsap Country Sheriffs have a Post.
A Ship is made up of youth 13 – 20 which are focused on Sailing. At this time our ship is partnered with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Port Orchard Yacht Club.
An amicable agreement between the Unit and its Chartered organizations sets the viability to offer the gender type of the unit. This determination is based on multiple factors which are personal in nature to that charter.
T is Traditional Unit meaning male youth group accommodated F is Family Unit meaning both male and female youth group accommodated

For over 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich and help to extend Scouting to America's youth.
The mission of the Order of the Arrow is to fulfill its purpose as an integral part of the Boy Scouts of America through positive youth leadership under the guidance of selected capable adults.
As Scouting’s National Honor Society, our purpose is to:
